Almost all blockchain transactions require network fees. These fees are paid to the blockchain network and are not retained by Nexus. When sending cryptocurrency, you must hold the network’s native token to pay the fee (for example, if you want to send USDT on the Ethereum network, ETH is required to cover the transaction fee.).
Do I need to pay network fees for failed transactions?
Yes. Network fees cover the resources used to process a transaction on the blockchain. Regardless of whether a transaction succeeds or fails, the network fee is consumed and cannot be refunded by Nexus.
Why does Nexus request address authorization?
We request permission to access your addresses in order to provide location-based services (for example, swap functionality). Some features may be restricted or unavailable in certain regions. You can grant or modify address permissions in the system settings.
